SIZING INFO
Left Field jeans and chinos are not vanity sized. This means that our bottoms generally run one to two sizes smaller than those from most other brands.
The best way to determine your Left Field size is to measure a pair of jeans or chinos you already own and that fit you well, and then compare those measurements with the ones listed on our site. To get the most accurate measurements, lay your pants flat, with the front and back of the waistband level and pulled taut. Measure from the inside edge of the left side to the inside edge of the right side, then double that number and subtract one inch to account for stretch. The number you wind up with is the "actual waist" measurement.
OUR FITS
The Greaser: Our Greaser Jean has a straight leg with a slight taper and medium-high rise, similar to ‘50s-style dungarees.
The Chelsea: The Chelsea is a slimmed down version of our Greaser Jean, with a narrower thigh, knee and leg opening, and slightly lower rise.
The Miner: The Miner Chino is a modern take on the classic workwear trouser, with a medium rise and slightly tapered straight leg.
The Tailored: The Tailored Chinos have a slim, tapered leg with a narrow opening, and a medium-low rise.
Our Chelsea Jeans and Tailored Chinos are not recommended for guys with larger legs.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your jean's fades are as personal as your fingerprint, and we feel the best way to achieve this is from the raw state.
We recommend you wear our selvedge jeans and chinos for as long as possible, before washing. When you are ready to wash, flip your pants inside-out, and hand-rinse in cold water with a splash of mild detergent. Then, hang dry and shape the legs so they aren't overly creased or wrinkled.
All of our selvedge fabrics are sanforized, unless otherwise noted, so a prewash is not necessary. Soaking your jeans in hot water when you first receive them is not recommended either, as that will bleed out the indigo, causing fades to have less contrast. The starch in the denim from the weaving process causes the jeans to form stiff wrinkles and creases, allowing for more contrast in the fades. Washing out the starch will make them soft, and soft jeans don't fade well. Washing your selvedge jeans or chinos right away in a washing machine is also unrecommended, as it can can cause unwanted abrasion marks. These abrasions will not look natural since, since they aren't formed from natural wear.
Chinos that aren't made from selvedge fabrics, will already have been washed and dried when you receive them, so you may can continue to do so without worry.

All domestic orders ship free.
International orders ship via Fedex for a flat rate of $30.00 USD, with the exception of Russia, which ships for $50, due to exceptionally high transit costs.

Any additional shipping charges incurred from rejected or returned packages are the responsibility of the shipper.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
You may return an item within seven days of receipt for a refund or exchange. A $12 restocking fee will be charged for all refunded items.
First exchanges ship free. If you require additional exchanges, a shipping fee of $10 will be charged for each. Please contact returns@leftfieldnyc.com with your item(s) name and reason for return before shipping back your merchandise. We will assign you a RA number. Returns sent without a RA number will not be accepted.
Returned items must be in their original, unworn and unwashed condition, free of any stains, odors or defects and with all packaging and tags still intact and attached.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
It is strongly recommended that all return packages are sent with proof of delivery. Refunds will not be issued for returns that are lost in transit.
